I heard there was a tamale fight on Christmas at the Gonzalez House...there was tamale snatching and mean eye gestures with the silent treatment given after.
tamale snatching?? can't be! the tias & 2 cousins, oh and 2 uncles, made a boat load of tamales! there was no need for stink-eye giving or tamale snatching.
Well I heard that the tamales de rajas were what was "hot out in the streets" and the fight were over these kind of tamales. I don't know...the boat load didn't include these.
We have to make things interesting, otherwise people will not have anything to talk about.
